We have a 3-step design process for logos and design. Logos generally take 2-3 weeks including changes and delivery of final files.
It usually starts with a phone call or email where the pastor or church leader expresses the need for a logo or branding project. We ask a variety of questions so we can get a good idea of your current situation, where you'd like to be, and how our services can help get you there. We send a brand assessment survey to help us get to know your church and community better, and we follow up by phone to recommend a direction based on your input. The assessment phase typically takes 2-3 days for logos and small projects.
Research and Initial Designs
Once we've agreed on a design direction, we get to work researching and developing a wide range of ideas for your church. We create dozens of thumbnail sized ideas, narrow them down to the strongest designs that fit your church, then render the best ideas in Adobe Illustrator. We present you with the best 4-6 ideas. It takes about a week from the time we go over the survey recommendations with you until we email you an initial set of design options.
Once you've chosen a logo as your top choice, we welcome your input to modify the design so it best fits your church. Changes usually go quickly. We include three rounds of updates so you receive designs that are a great fit for your church. Upon approval of the final design we make and send you a final set of files that will meet all your print and digital needs. If printing is needed, we can take care of that, too. Depending on how many changes are needed to your logo, this stage can range from a day to a week.
To fully brand your church, stationery, brochures, media and other related projects can be designed once your logo is approved. A consistent brand creates a professional look that can be incorporated throughout your church. In our visual culture, good branding improves the perception of the quality of communication and ministry for your church.
